my parents are leaving for Birmingham tomorrow,

they got their money changed to pounds, so it was $AU4,000 and we got $1,600 pounds back or near that. The notes look so strange! I wish i was going. The money doesn't make sense to me lol, just looks like big pieces of paper haha.

P.S. Can you tell me a bit about Birmingham, i know nothing about it. They have friends over their so yeah.

Never been, but im sure there are nice people there somewhere...
its had its ups and downs over the years, wont go into too much...
but i do hope they have a good time, and if they are staying with someone they know even better for them...

what dont you understand about the money...
what you got in aus...
do you mean £1.600.... or euro's.. cos we dont do euro's here...yet!!!!

yeah pounds, but i didn't know what the symbol was. well they left yesterday. They left Melbourne (Aus) at 9pm and went to Dubai and then left Dubai and are on their way to England now i think. So they won't be there until Saturday morning (aus)but left on Thursday (aus). I think its 12 hours difference. Totally confused.
