i'm gearing up to get my first 1/4 sleeve. i'm a pretty thin guy and was just curious as to what people think about skinny boy sleeves. not that it will influence my getting or not getting it...just wondering what the geneal consensus was.

just bear in mind that dark colours will make your arm look smaller, and any art running lengthways down the arm will accentuate the slimness.
in any case, nearly all sleeves will make the arm appear slightly slimmer than a bare one.
but then I'd rather have skinny tattooed arms than fat bare ones! |

| the skinnier you are, the smaller the skin area, therefore the smaller the tattoo, therefore the cheaper the price. you can't lose. |

thanks for all your guys' two cents. I guess the consensus is that a 1/4 sleeve will make a skinny arm look skinnier.
I'm obviously still going for it...i guess i'll just look more like a stick than usual,
no probs |

| I personally think if you want to get a tattoo doesn't matter how big or small it is. So long as you like it is all that matters. So long as your tattooist can do it then go for it. By the way I have to agree with the point that skinny are are cheaper to be done like blamski said. I have got big arms so its true I have a large tattoo that would cover my son's full bicep while it only does the front of my arm. |

| As i have skinny arms with no muscle, what would happen to the tattoo if i did get bigger/musclery arms? |

The tattoo will get bigger and may stretch as you bulk up, depending on how much bigger you get.
You could always get the artist to shade in "buff" lines into the colour of the arm to make it appear more muscular |
