im in my final yr of a law degree + while all my other tattoos r on my back n lower abdomen iv been wanting to get one on my wrist for a while and when i go to get one i usually get two because i like to go to the same artist n its a bit of a journey so i like to make the most out of it!
im hoping to get my next ones in january but im constantly being told that one on my wrist will be a bad idea what with jobs etc but becaus all my others arent on show im not fully sure what the general respons employers/potential employers hav to that kinda thing so if ny1 has any advis wud b helpful b4 i fully decide what 2 do! |

I would assume if you are doing a law degree , you will be wearing a long sleeved shirt / suit most of the time while you are at work ??
If so then get them , if not and you are worried then maybe its not the place for you to get them .I would hire some one on the way they work not their looks , if they did their job properly then i would be happy , clients on the other hand my not be so forgiving .....
personally i wont go past my elbows for my arms , but have started full legs , that way if need be i can wear jeans and short sleeved shirt to cover up . |

Hi iseult,
Unfortunately this world still judges a book by its cover. It's not fair but you still have to play the game to survive. I agree that if you are going to do your lower arm do not go below the cuff line of a long sleeve shirt. |
