|
|
| hey, looking at purchasing a personal infrared sauna and i was wondering if anyone knows if sitting in there would or could damage ink? I think it depends on the frequency of the infrared. the sauna has an FIR Frequency of 6-14 microns, mostly 8-10. Not really sure what that means. Hoping someone can help. Thanks alot. |

Hey,
Just wondering if you ever found an answer for the question you posted, I've been looking myself.
From what I understand FIR sauna's are UV free so as with a normal sauna they should be ok. |

This is a very good question so I will double up on it. I just got one of these . They use a kinda carbon heating sheet to heat the sauna. It's not like the ceramic tubes. I was just wondering whether it would have an effect on the tat as well. Like the other guy said, I can't see infrared having an effect on the tat.... In fact, I've just had a thought. There is infrared heat from the sun, therefore, if the tat is alright in the sun, it would be ok in the sauna? I dunno....
Help? A medical professional would be useful on this one. |
