With having so many questions about the same topic here,s a few rough guidlines to help you.
All tattooists will charge a wide range of prices. Some will charge a set fee for the whole piece ,others more commonly will charge by the hour. Sorry we cant be any more precise in answering questions about how much will a tattoo cost.
Next is the questions about how much will it hurt?. Well there are so many variables in this to. Some people say it never hurts them, these are the lucky ones most people who have needles stuck into their skin will feel pain. There are far to many factors that affect you. Pain tolorence,is the artist heavy handed, and how long is the session. Hope this information helps you. |

| nicely put rowdy..... the placement of the tattoo can determin how much the tattoo will hurt some places will hurt more than others basicly where there is bone close to the surface of the skin (eg shin, ribs, ankle, shoulder blade and tops of feet) and where there are masses of nerve endings (eg hands, sides/bottoms of feet, inside of arms and sides of neck) will hurt more than normal fleshy areas but every one is diffrent and handle pain in diffrent ways as for price around $80 to $100 an hour |

whoever told you that, is pretty much right... atleast from my experience... its like having a pushpin dragged across your skin... the painful part is that some places it feels like its being pushed further into your skin than others.... your upperarm shouldn't be too bad because its one of the fleshier parts of the body |

I'm going through that stage right now, it feels like a sunburn basically... but not a really bad one. Since your tattoo'll be in a place that isn't doing a whole lot of crazy movement (twisting, bending, stretching etc) you likely won't notice it very much.
Good luck! |

| To me the experience is more of a discomfort than anything else not much more tnan a slight burn or gravel rash. I usually focus on a specific point in the room or listen to music, really the only time I feel anything is when I look at the progress. |

| I liken it to hot sandpaper being dragged over your skin. Then afterwards it feels like a sunburn. I just started a large rib piece yesterday and it definitely felt like hot sandpaper being dragged up and down my side! |

I just got my first tattoo on the 13th of March ( I know, bad day since its Friday the 13th and what not) Anyway, I got it on my right hip, the image is uploaded in the gallery, under Wolf =D.
Talking about the burning sensation though, I didn't feel anything much, and right now my tattoo is halfway through the peeling process, and it only mildly itches hehe.
Just a question though, have any of you guys heard of Redwin's Vitamin E Cream ( unfragranced ) and whats your take on it as a tattoo aftercare? I'm using it right now, it seems to help though I can't tell whether or not it would affect the color |

Haha thanks Rowdy, have you seen the tattoo though?? Its under Wolf..
Talking about it being the luckiest day, I suppose thats why I didn't scab and only had the peeling to worry about. In fact I'm almost done peeling and it has only been 6 days since I got my tattoo done, as for color wise, it didn't seem to fade so I'm really proud.
I'm going to get another one inked on my left hip as a memorial tattoo for a friend who passed away =DD |

Mhmm, it does. Its going to be a dragonfly with the kanji lettering for friendship underneath it. Its going to be slightly more elaborate than the wolf.
And oh, I'm glad you liked it hehe. It has healed completely with minimal color fading w00t :3 |

every tat i have gotten over the years always feels like a slow burny cat scratch. And everyone ive tattooed seems to hve a different opinion. Some say that the shading hurts way more then the outline and vice versa. Women are almost always better with the pain of tattoos then the boys. But I think its very dependant on how much mental pain tolerance u have. |
