I have a tattoo on my foot that I got a couple months ago.. and from all the tattoos that I have gotten, it does seem to be the most painful spot
But I guess it all depends on how bad you want the tattoo..
it did hurt pretty bad, but I would do it again.. my foot was shaking alot and the tattoo artist had to pretty much hold my foot down the whole time..
Overall though, it sucks but hey.. no pain no gain |

| I have a tattoo on my foot that goes up from my toe and across my ankle bone. i have other tattoos, on my wrist, shoulder and back. but yes.. the foot hurts the most. but its bearable. my foot was shaking too and had to be held but thats somat to do with the nerves in my foot i think. lol. every tattoo hurts, especially where the skin is thin.. good luck |

| FYI: Most good tattooists won't guarantee foot tattoos since its very hard to wait two weeks for the tattoo to heal w/o someone having to wear socks or even flip flops |

| Just wanted to let you know I got a foot tattoo and wore heels to work the next day - and I teach so I'm on my feet all day. I kinda wish somebody had told me that it could have been a problem, but I didn't have any issues. |

| good to know. and now i am thiking i might be alright if i wear loose shos, and just heal it the way i do. after all i can redo it if it fades horribly. am more concerned about infection. but if i walk around in flip flops indoors mostyl, and wear loose shoes might be alright. thanks for additional answers. |

Hey there,
Have you thought about getting a tattoo done on your lower back instead? You could get a small cupcake put there and it'd look really cute!
If you want, check out my new blog where I'm discussing the options for lower back tattoo designs. |

| I don't understand the draw people have to feet tattoos, they are overly painful and really don't last |

| imho i think women with a nice skull or rose on their foot reoooow!, sexxah. and for us dudes, gives ya a cool look for the ladies, or whoever. plus its good for shops for getting them touched up?. just a neat place to have. still pondering what i'd get on my foot. i prefer for the side of my foot. but some people like the top. as long as its done well, and good artwork, might be worth the pain, and retouch up. but wtf do i know lol. |

| I am sure some girls go for the foot tattoo first as its easier to hide from mommy and daddy or for work purposes. |

| here in Canada even coppers have visible tattoo's the world is a changing. if coppers can show visible tattoo's hehe. at least here in Canada, we are more laid back about tattoo's. its discrimination to not hire someone with body art. |

the first tattoo I got was on my foot as well...it was the worst pain I've ever felt, and after I said I would never get another tattoo, and well I got my 7th yesterday, it is well worth it though because it doesn't hurt much at all after the fact. I've had more pain after the tattoo with some of my other ones, and the one on my foot just hurt when the guy was doing it. Just make sure you take someone with you and hold their hand...its not that bad once the artist is done |
