just tattooing myself up heard about bleach then boiling hot water for tube and grips. i use sterilised packages needles. C series generics. but any info on a safe old fashioned tips to clean my metal tubes, and grips would be awesome. not worried about disease cause i aint got any, and all my gear has only been used on myself. i know, i know. but i want to be safe. thanks all.
i read if you put a metal object totally submerged in water you can nuke it in microwave; will google that. also read a good dishwasher with a sanitize function is good too. ok blabbing on now . thanks again.
i know theres the old boil then burn but i dont want to be doing that to my tubes hehe. so am thinking bleach water mixtures the wash em up wit dettol afterwards, or some anti bacterial purel, or rubbing alckiehaul. thanks all |

if ti was me i would just stick to disposables nothing comes close to ultra sonic cleaner and a autoclave. their other ways that might work but wont be as thorougher...............
if ya got no idea about something then the best thing to do is ask, there is no such thing as a bad question |

| Giving technical advise to scratchers over the internet is just as bad as the scum who sell starter kits. |

You sir are a scratcher. I am not at all an angry person. I am just tired of self taught kitchen magicians tossing out advice and begging for advice on the god damn internet instead of doing any research on their own. Wanting it all for free and offering nothing at all in return.
No training, with some ebay kit... come on man. How could you possibly thing think what you are doing is a good idea?
Who said I take on apprentices? I have yet to be impressed enough by someone to take them on. The people in my life I would offer apprenticeships to don't want to tattoo. The people looking for apprenticeships are terrible artists with bad attitudes and hardly any tattoos on them. They just want to do it cause they saw it on TV and they want to be cool. You know, the same reason you got your kit. |

Alright, then I apologize for assuming you were jumping on the bandwagon.
Your lack of respect is even more difficult to understand now though. |

I would be more than happy to give you any NON TECHNICAL information on tattooing that you would like. If there were posts requesting such information I would happily reply with professional advice.
You will not find me giving out any technical info, to make anyone who is "trying" to tattoo's life easier. There is a right way and a wrong way to learn the trade. This is the wrong way.
I know damn well I am disrespecting you, and these forums. I have a lot of contempt towards forums like these. I think they cheapen my chosen trade, which I have been pouring everything into my entire adult life. It took a ton of work and dedication to get where I am today.
In the other thread you said no one is perfect and every tattooer has done a bad tattoo. I am gonna agree with you on that. I have done a few that could have been a ton better, but my very first tattoo I put on... and the very worst tattoo I have ever done are fucking light years ahead of anything that Heath could dream of putting out. I mean *****, there have got to be like 10 levels of fucking horrible Heath is gonna have to make it through just to reach being a bad tattooer. |

| lol... did you ever see your first tattoo again after it left the shop or lets say the first 100 tattoos you ever done. i could bet ya if ya did see them again you wouldnt evan reconise them being your own work. a bad tattoo can look good for about 6 to 12 months before it starts going down hill, drop outs, blow outs, patchy shadeing, fadeing, mate the list can go on for half a page |

Seen the first tattoo I did about 6 years after I put it on. Aint great, but its solid. The 2nd tattoo I ever did, now that one looks like *****.
I have seen a great deal of the tattoos I did early on, but because I had a great mentor, who instilled the proper respect for the trade and the client in me, along with the technical skills I needed the majority of them look good.
