hey all,
I'm 17 years old and getting my first tattoo soon. I'm thinking about getting a black treble clef with little stars around it about an inch and a half tall on my lower stomach to the left of my right hip bone. like where girls put those hearts when they go tanning, if you all know what I'm talking about. If anyone has a tattoo there, please tell me if this is a painful spot!! thanks!

honestly, the hip area will hurt a bit, but it's not as painful as other areas. Very Happy

i hope this helps you some. i have 6 tattoos right now, but none where you want yours. my friend has one there, and she told me it was kinda' painful, but it wasn't the worst thing in the world. just know that you are really going to have to take care of it and not have things rubbing it while it's healing. also make sure that you only use something like a&d on it for the first 3 days... NO NEOSPORIN!!!! also... there's never a time it's not going to cause some kind of discomfort, but some places just hurt worse than less... like where there is a lot of meat and not on bone. (sides hurt really bad too!) hope this helped you some!

For me, by my experience from my first tattoo, i really dont think it would absolutely knacker me having it on my hip. People say it really hurts but some dont. If you experience one on a fleshier area (obviously only if you want one there) and you dont find that painful, you may be ok with it there. I had mine on a fleshire area and tbh it didnt hurt at all.
