Hello guys, Im wanting to get a full back peice done quite similar to the image below but I was wondering if dragon flies are thought to be acceptable to be worn by males, or usually thought to be just for females and far too feminine for males, please let me know what you think.

i'm a female with a dragonfly, but i think that pic you posted is totally a male tattoo. not feminine at all. so it all depends on how the tattoo is designed, not the actual subject. dragonflys can be pretty and girly, but as you have shown, they can also be masculine.
the meaning of a dragonfly tattoo:
the dragonfly represents the wild and free spirit.
The dragonfly is the power of light.
The dragonfly inhabits two realms: air and water

if that suits you, then i say go for it!

Wow thats huge.

I agree with Torie, it is a bit masculine - only because its bulky and the shape of the dragonfly isnt very fluid.

Let us know what you decide on. SMC4312
