I have this god awful crap butterfly tattoo starting at my left wrist going up most of my forearm and some very uneven, shitty lined stars going around my forearm. I want to cover them up because they look like a kid gave them to me.

I recently had my son 4 months to early. He didn't live because he didnt have the lungs needed to survive. His heart did beat for 34 minutes and watching your child die and not being able to do anything about it is harder than you can imagine. Even though we didnt get a chance to know him, his eye or hair color, his voice or his laughter we are still suffering from his death and love him deeply.

I want my cover up tattoo to be a lower half sleeve - a full sleeve that somehow memorializes his death, our deep, never dying love for him, the suffering we feel, and the path it is leading us down (which btw..is not a path of death or depression). It has renewed us and our marriage. Im kind of concerned the black wont be coverable.

Anyone do designs or have any ideas? I've looked into celtic design and being an artist have tried to design my own sleeve. It is difficult to wear your own art and love it. I also dont want to end up with a crap load of empty spaced knotwork.

I need color and symbolizim to cover a large area. BTW...Im an 19 y.o. female. So somewhat feminine. Difficult huh?

You can get an angel tattoo done to symbolize your love. Now that your child is an angel, he will certainly smile down on you

Hi k im really sorry for your loss,do yo think you can use flowers to cover your old tatt. They are femanine and you can incorporate the colours you have into the new design ,as flowers come in all colours and this may make it easier to cover it up. good luck please let us know how you get on.
